Let’s start this discussion by noting in today’s modern home there is no single location for a flat screen. We’ll provide several ideas here with the basic concept being you are going to be mounting several TVs as there are several unique and exciting places for viewing.

In most homes mounting your flat screen directly across from the couch seems to be logical. However, you’ll want to consider height, electrical, angle, and glare from lighting, both direct sunlight and lamp placement.

What if that ideal location is above a fireplace or on a brick wall? The wall you’re mounting the TV to becomes a pretty important factor.
